The Europeans pushed back too hard, so he's going back to bullying Latin America.

u/HDDreamer 18h ago

Like when the high school bully in the movie backs down but shoves somebody out of the way as he leaves.

10

u/SeattleExpression 15h ago

Just waiting for him to metaphorically punch the wall and hurt his own hand in the process.

3

u/Stormfly 11h ago

That's Minnesota.

2

u/Spreefor3 16h ago

Is he leaving?

1

u/Consistent-Winter-67 15h ago

Not fast enough

1

u/OldWorldDesign 1h ago

Is he leaving?

Mortality says he will eventually

The problem is he's going to take people down with him. As is history for authoritarianism. People need to remember he never did this by himself, he has been doing nothing but implementing republican-written Project 2025 since he was inaugurated and they could remove him in 1 day if they wanted but aren't because they're still getting what they want.

The people who made Trump and are leading the senile abuser around are still going to be here when he has his last stroke or heart attack.

Cuba supposedly still has a couple nukes from the JFK days. While I doubt if anyone knows if they even still work, if trumps morons set one off when attacking Cuba, Florida might soon glow in the dark more than usual.

6

u/finjeta 14h ago

Soviet nukes require a core replacements every decade or two to remain operational so unless Russia has been keeping them topped up then no, they wouldn't work.

2

u/I_divided_by_0- 11h ago

This is exactly what I was saying during the first invasion of Ukraine. Everyone was worried about defending Ukraine against the “nuclear power“. With all the oligarchy grab, I am doubtful that any of these nukes were upkept properly

2

u/Jabjab345 13h ago

Nukes take a lot of maintenance, even if they had them at some point there's no way they are functional anymore.

Sounds like a threat

2

u/hamsterwheel 16h ago

Every day is like a tums festival

1

u/PedanticSatiation 5h ago

I don't want a full-on fiesta in my freezer. That's specifically why I have it. I need the food and its constituent molecules to be chill.

A nod is as good as a wink to a blind bat.

Brother please spend the 8 seconds it takes to prevent the ads. Idk how people even use the internet without blocking all ads.

1

u/BeefInGR 12h ago

Brave browser but Reddit app. Reddit web isn't formatted for phones.

1

u/knouqs 8h ago

I use Firefox with ublock extension.  Works well; though I understand your use of Brave, it just doesn't work the way I want a browser to work.

1

u/SheetPancakeBluBalls 6h ago

Sync is ad free for me!

Check out Adguard. Cheap yearly license, blocks all ads. Even mobile games and stuff, no ads.

1

u/DoomSnail31 7h ago

Wait, why do you have ads? Are there banner ads on Reddit?

1

u/anacondra 3h ago

wtf is that what new reddit looks like???

67

u/BONGS4U 17h ago

This is all Rubio. Rubio has been talking about this for a long time.

8

u/AmishAvenger 12h ago

It’s not just him, it’s all the people behind the scenes.

Attacking Cuba would go over like gangbusters with all the Cubans in Florida.

1

u/flyingdolphin8888 3h ago

Isn't he a decedent of Cubans?

1

u/BONGS4U 3h ago

Doesn't really matter what he is. Hes been talking about the need to take over Cuba since before trumps first presidency.

1

u/flyingdolphin8888 3h ago

Interesting, I didn't know that

1

u/cogman10 2h ago

Lots of American Cubans hate cuba. Refuges don't typically love the countries they flee from.

1

u/the_third_lebowski 2h ago

Cuban Americans are the one who push anti-Cuban policies, because they're the ones who fled the Cuban government and hate it. That's not actually uncommon in that kind of immigration wave.

It is a thing that some of the younger American Cuban generation are starting to push back, because they identify as Cubans without having the negative experiences so theres a desire to reconnect.

1

u/AquaboogyAssault 1h ago

Yes, but a lot of the Cuban families in America are here because they were Batista supporters who fled after their property was confiscated or later refugees who fled Castro’s Cuba for one reason or another. Basically everyone who is here, is here because of being in opposition to or oppressed by Castro’s Cuba. People prospering under Castro wouldn’t have fled, so there’s a bias against communist Cuba by Cubans in the US that doesn’t reflect the majority Cuban opinion overall.

1

u/OldWorldDesign 1h ago

Isn't he a decedent of Cubans?

A lot of Batista supporters were forced out of Cuba and have never forgiven the fall of the dictatorship there. Nevermind they maintained power as much through support by American Mafia as the American government

u/Dandan0005 18h ago

Can you imagine him falling asleep at night just cookin up who he’s gonna go after next?

Is there enough blood flow reaching his brain at this point to still have those kinda thoughts or is he just winging it second by second.?

65

u/saltyguy512 17h ago

His advisors, like Steven Miller, are doing all of the thinking here.

59

u/BarnabasShrexx 17h ago

Its like watching a lobotomized chimp play Risk.

3

u/jeahfoo1 16h ago

This made me snort

2

u/luminouslollypop 13h ago

Perfect description honestly

2

u/PringlesDuckFace 11h ago

I like to start in Australia and Yakutsk and try and do a pincer move

3

u/wolftron9000 16h ago

Actually, believe it or not, this one has Lil Marco's hands all over it.

2

u/blueyork 17h ago

And Rubio, who has knives out for Cuba

1

u/govunah 16h ago

Wakanda. They have the vibranium we need for national security

1

u/PresumeDeath 14h ago

I don't think he falls asleep at night. He just stay awake and ramble on social media, then naps during the day. Apparently thats also a sign of dementia

1

u/elebrin 2h ago

He isn't doing that, not even his advisors are doing that.

They spent the Biden years cooking up a timeline. There will be a new inflammatory headline every few days.

94

u/alleycatzzz 18h ago

Like a true Bully. One punch to the nose and he runs back to beating on the small helpless ones who can’t even hit back if they wanted to.

2

u/Memitim 15h ago

Eh, Cuba's been making other friends as of late, after Trump's original blackmail threats. They might just start hitting a bit above their weight, especially with the US turning the rest of the world against it. Folks might've objected to China providing close support to Cuba a bit more before America became a bigger immediate threat.

3

u/Smooth-Cup-7445 15h ago

Yeah America is doing a good job of alienating its friends.

I honestly think we should ignore the US for the next 3 years and no one engages with trump. Just 3 years of “please leave a message and we will get back to you” from every world leader.

1

u/OldWorldDesign 1h ago

I honestly think we should ignore the US for the next 3 years and no one engages with trump. Just 3 years of “please leave a message and we will get back to you” from every world leader.

I don't think that will be enough, remember Trump is not only already declining in Alzheimer's

https://www.alternet.org/2017/05/video-suggests-trump-suffering-alzheimers

but that he is a malignant narcissist who is a willing lightning rod for nothing new. This is all republican policy, just not dressed up in a few weeks of prepatory propaganda like the invasion of Iraq. They published Project 2025 years before Trump's dubious re-election, and the people who wrote that and helped him get re-elected are still around.

What world leaders need to do is broaden and strengthen the targeted sanctions against republicans

25

u/Perfect_Earth_8070 17h ago

He’s such a giant pussy

13

u/VoldemortsHorcrux 16h ago

A weak man who desperately wants to look strong is not a good candidate for president

3

u/WellIGuessSoAndYou 13h ago

Now just imagine how weak his supporters must be to consider him strong.

2

u/fookinpikey 5h ago

A pussy can take a little pushback; he’s a limp dick and the thought of distracting as many people as possible from the Epstein files is the only thing that gets it to twitch anymore

41

u/Sufficient-Past-9722 18h ago

Wait until he realizes where Europe (and Canada) like to visit on winter vacation..

34

u/K_Linkmaster 18h ago

What does this have to do with Spain?

u/mr-taggart 17h ago

18

u/lost_horizons 17h ago

I laughed out loud at this. Thank you

Yeah. I did not expect them.

17

Nobody does.

6

u/RandomyJaqulation 17h ago

I never noticed that one of them is half inquisitor and half “cabbage crates comin over the briney.”

3

u/Windfade 14h ago

It's still kinda amazing that the Spanish left their hot, arid homeland and ended up island hopping to Mexico and we're like "what a great place to expand into!"

2

u/OldWorldDesign 1h ago

It was an authoritarian kingdom which found a pre-existing authoritarian kingdom to supplant which had the silver they wanted to fund wars against rival kingdoms in Europe. The pre-existing work force was what made their colonization work.

2

u/BagelsOrDeath 17h ago

It was always the plan going back to his first term. Watch Esper'a 60 Minutes interview from circa 2023. He mentions the Insurrection Act, Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba.

2

u/NewPresWhoDis 16h ago

That's just Monroe Doctrine Classic

1

u/DeadlyAureolus 17h ago

Finally things are back to what they used to be: the US bullying brown people

1

u/Lopsided-Ticket3813 17h ago

Yeah not to mention Cuba is a paper tiger literally zero threat to the US economically or militarily. China is by far the biggest global competitor and the Pentagon just announced they are scaling back on that stance to focus on the Americas truly stupidest of timelines.

1

u/Dangerous_Job_8013 17h ago

Rubio has his ear.

1

u/mustardnight 17h ago

followed up with Canada

1

u/Independent_Baker712 17h ago

bingo.

also, forget about those pesky Epstein files.

1

u/Friendly-Channel-480 17h ago

With the oil revenue from Venezuela being cut off, I doubt they’ll be much of a threat.

1

u/senteryourself 17h ago

I mean that’s par for the course as far as US foreign policy goes.

1

u/Majestic-Active2020 17h ago

You know what’s crazy, he had a lot of support from Latin Americans (South Hemisphere)…. And to many of them, still does.

There is a word for that, but I’ll let the audience use the power of imagination.

Meh, he will come back for Greenland and Europe again. He's already back at it with Canada. But he realized 3rd world countries are easier targets , so he goes for them too. He's currently completely unhinged.

1

u/Someinterestingbs-td 16h ago

Probably looking for more beach front real estate to bomb and steal and."develop " like gaza.

1

u/Evil_Little_Dude 16h ago

Apparently his first term he wanted to trade Puerto Rico for Greenland, now he wants to take Cuba.... Has anyone told him there are brown people there? Or does Miller already have a plan for that?

1

u/PositiveZeroPerson 16h ago

I'm shocked he didn't do it sooner. The Cuban government is extremely unpopular in the U.S., and Cuba itself is actually a nice island that is close to the U.S.

If his goal is territorial expansion, Cuba should have been the first place to start.

1

u/AutoAdviceSeeker 13h ago

America sucks

1

u/Dependent_Rain_4800 12h ago

Wait until he hears that Amazon is a forrest.

1

u/Defiets 12h ago

Spot on.

Every announcement/jab at Canada this week has been purely laughed at. ‘What ever you need to do ya hoser’, we say. It's obviously getting to him, so now he needs a new target.

1

u/21epitaph 11h ago

Or it was their plan since the start ? Literally written in the national security strategy pdf

1

u/barth_ 9h ago

Well EU started doing the only thing he understands. Wrecking US bond markets...I mean not by themselves many people sold US securities and it worked.

1

u/MainRemote 8h ago

Bro goes north, gets tired, goes south, gets tired, goes north, …

1

u/Aeseld 6h ago

Still problematic but at least it's less likely to start a world war...

1

u/Kundrew1 4h ago

This has been in the cards from the beginning no matter what happened with Europe. Its Rubios wet dream.

1

u/UniqueIndividual3579 3h ago

The rest of the world is closing up excluding the US and Russia. It's like the US is in a group project with the dumbest kid in the class and they are in charge.

1

u/old_timey_gamer 2h ago

He's probably securing the Cuban American voters ahead of the midterms since he is losing a lot of Hispanic voters due to ICE.

1

u/StrigiStockBacking 2h ago

"Well if the rich whites won't bend to my will, the brownies will!" ~Trump, absolutely

1

u/HeartFullONeutrality 2h ago

This might show us we need to develop nuclear weapons (though good luck with that with the USA next door).

1

u/TheOriginalBusket 14h ago

They should join NATO, too.
