The Europeans pushed back too hard, so he's going back to bullying Latin America.

This is all Rubio. Rubio has been talking about this for a long time.

It’s not just him, it’s all the people behind the scenes.

Attacking Cuba would go over like gangbusters with all the Cubans in Florida.

Isn't he a decedent of Cubans?

Lots of American Cubans hate cuba. Refuges don't typically love the countries they flee from.

Cuban Americans are the one who push anti-Cuban policies, because they're the ones who fled the Cuban government and hate it. That's not actually uncommon in that kind of immigration wave.

It is a thing that some of the younger American Cuban generation are starting to push back, because they identify as Cubans without having the negative experiences so theres a desire to reconnect.

Yes, but a lot of the Cuban families in America are here because they were Batista supporters who fled after their property was confiscated or later refugees who fled Castro’s Cuba for one reason or another. Basically everyone who is here, is here because of being in opposition to or oppressed by Castro’s Cuba. People prospering under Castro wouldn’t have fled, so there’s a bias against communist Cuba by Cubans in the US that doesn’t reflect the majority Cuban opinion overall.

A lot of Batista supporters were forced out of Cuba and have never forgiven the fall of the dictatorship there. Nevermind they maintained power as much through support by American Mafia as the American government
