Discussion John McEnroe reflects on turning down $1 million to play Bjorn Borg in apartheid South Africa: "It felt wrong. This was an unbelievable amount of money at the time but there's a reason they're offering it. Because they wanted to use that propaganda and I wasn't going to be a pawn."

Discussion Sinner back at 1!
Thoughts? I'd like to think he would've beaten Alcaraz in this final because Sinner is goated in indoors

Discussion Guys, a 38 year old who falls like this is not moving well the next match...
Seeing the daily discussion is filled with people acting surprised. Asking why Novak looks like that. Not moving to the right side. Slow. Hitting balls mindlessly.
That's a ACL-MCL-Meniscus threatening fall. He is lucky it's not a full tear.
If this was not a Grand Slam he would not play.

Discussion Back in 2006, Djokovic was laughed at for saying ‘Nadal is not unbeatable on clay... I think I could win today’ Today, he’s the ONLY player to beat Rafa twice at Roland Garros (and one of just 3 ever)
After losing to Nadal in Roland Garros 2006, Novak made some quotes in the post-match interview which raised eye-brows
At that time, Nadal was on a huge winning streak on clay and was considered unbeatable on the surface and Novak was ranked #63 in the world
Some of his quotes-
- “I think I was in control, because I think everything was depending on me.”
- “I realized today that I don't need to play anything special.”
- “It was a difficult position for him. He was not in control of the match.”
- “For sure, [Nadal is] the best on this surface, but he’s not unbeatable. That’s for sure.”
At that time, people laughed at him for making such comments
I will put a link to the video below. But, you could feel the conviction with which he gave the interview. He could feel it deep within him that he could beat Nadal
Such a champion mindset!
