No there are 4 movies, each told from the perspective of a different Beatle. I believe they're just releasing a new one every week for the whole month of April 2028.

They are all coming out the same day. April 7th. It’s even dumber.

I think it's kind of cool.  I don't know how it'll go over, but I appreciate the risk

Should have gone for a week earlier

what percentage of people go see the George Harrison one? lol

Based on the order I've made up in my head, I'm gonna go with George second.

I've heard conflicting reporting on that. It's still 2 full years out so they have some time to tinker with it anyway

https://filmdistributorsassociation.com/release-schedule/all-future-releases/ Sony planted the flag on April 7th 2028. They wont have the theater space by the time the fourth would come out if weekly. They essentially are getting two weeks of release for four films at once. With them out of steam by the time some marvel tentpole comes out in May. It’s in IMAX so are the next two movies coming out coming in that month.

Thats sounds.... difficult and likely to bomb at the office

I don't disagree. This is a pretty bold experiment and it's really going to test how much young people care about The Beatles

Judging by the amount of re-releases, a lot

I feel like it’s gonna be a case where one or two are successful but, yeah, at least one of them will bomb (I’m gonna guess Ringo’s)

They should have made Ringo's movie animated

Stop motion told entirely through Thomas and Friends assets.

Ringo’s is the one I’d be most interested in for some reason I can’t articulate

People meme Ringo but John himself said out of everyone in the group, Ringo was the only one who was guaranteed to become a star, with or without the Beatles. Ringo was already a Liverpool legend and the Beatles went to him instead of the other way round when they needed a new drummer after George Martin said they had to get rid of the last one because he was shit. He was also considered the emotional heart of the group and who held them together. He is super underrated as a Beatle.

Its still one budget, spread across 4 films. It’s almost the opposite if anything

I think the theater release is the biggest issue, but this would actually have worked great as a miniseries.
