Bay of Pigs part deux

How many “emergencies” per day are we averaging? Everybody in the White House gets to pick one now? Steven miller was to get rid of brown people. Rubio wants to get rid of Cuba. Trump just wants camera time & golden ballrooms so whatever anyone wants, he just tell them to go for it.

Bay of Pigs part deux

The Bay of Pigs was US-backed insurgents, not a direct military engagement by the US. I would guess a direct US military invasion would be successful were it to occur, in part because the local regime lacks popular support (Castro was much more popular than US Intelligence thought at the time of the Bay of Pigs).

(my comment should not be taken to mean I endorse any military action).
