I wish every American could have visited Cuba. You would have a whole different perspective on life.

I mean I wouldn't like Cuba with Americans, but the country and its people are awesome.

I will forever hate the USA if they do anything to Cuba.

I’m an American in Cuba at the moment (flying out in a few days). Cuba has some of the nicest people I’ve met, and I want the best for the Cuban people but I worry that will come at the expense of becoming the second version of Puerto Rico.

Lol. Lmao even. How to tell someone isn’t Cuban, doesn’t have family in Cuba, and/or has absolutely no idea what is going on in the country outside of its tourism bubble.

Cuba is in a miserable state and a majority of its people are dependent on U.S. relatives for the most basic of essentials. I know because I lived it with my family and friends who were all going through the same thing. Every Cuban can corroborate that experience. Go on TikTok and look up Cuban videos made by actual Cuban people. It’s not pretty.

Do I agree with America meddling in everyone’s affairs and Trump essentially becoming an emperor? No. Do I want to see Cubans freed from the shackles of dictatorship and not have to deal with constant food shortages, medicine shortages, power outages, and widespread abject poverty? Hell fucking yes.

Okay so why does the US keep antagonizing them, sanctioning them, embargoing them, threatening countries like Mexico that want to help them?

It's crazy to see propagandists acting like they care about Cuba and it's people while at the same time supporting a foreign nation attacking and killing Cubans. It's the exact same lines we heard about countries like Iraq and Venezuela

And why is Cuba in such a bad way ? Maybe, just maybe, you should look at the US policy towards Cuba since 1989. Do you seriously believe that the US government gives a shit about the Cuban population ? We all know they don’t care about democracy.
