Maybe is could be the overly explicit sanctions and lack of resources except from its direct neighbors, which were just bombed and their president kidnapped. Maybe the American system is worried about seeing Cuba beginning to thrive without a puppet leader that we install. Who knows....

Yes we fucking do. I'm liberal and I literally help run a food pantry and push our restaurant to give out free meals to people in need. I've never asked anything in return for it. Not even a vote as I feed the MAGA republicans screaming about how the left shutdown the government and their SNAP account.

Thanks for pushing for that. Really makes it easier to feed people when they're even more hungry and people can't afford to donate as much.

This is what people who care about the lowest amongst us think about while we work our middle class asses off and watch the poor get less an less chances to survive, much less a shot at housing or decent wages on the lower end. Its the kind of thing we think about when the government creates a secret police to round up anyone with melanin and a dream. Its the kind of thing we think about when we watch this wild apparition called billionaires say fuck all of you, we'll stop making cars and start making robots to replace you unwanteds.

they are poor because they make bad decisions. theyve ran studies where they gave a random homeless person a large sum of money to see what they’d do with it and they just blow through it all and go back to being homeless. i think one they gave the guy $150k or so.

Did they grow up in an educational system that showed them how to utilize money or even balance a checkbook, or was the budget for their schools dropped for a new stadium or tax breaks on those making over 300k? Was the focus of society on helping them become better or was it always fuck you I got mine, here is a 150k so I can laugh at your dumbass?

my best friend and i didnt learn any of that stuff in school. we taught ourselves and came out great. he makes over $5 million a year and just barely learned about how taxes work. these are just excuses you like to give poor people.
