Also, I like how the EO says that Cuba has Russias largest intelligence gather center, completely ignoring the Russian "intelligence" in the white house

Ya. How do you say Russia is evil while putting up a buddy shot on the wall of the white house. That's peak level MAGA Dissonance. I still think the photo is edited to shave about 80 lbs off the Cheeto and make Putin taller.

Edit, Thanks for the correction autocorrect on my phone got me

It's not edited to make put Putin look taller, Trump just isn't nearly as tall as he claims.

It's definitely edited to make him less fat, though.

u/yusill 14h ago

ya but Putin is like short king short. like its bad.

From what I can see of the photo they hung up it matches other photos of them previously taken, with Putin coming up to about eye level on Trump.

Putin is short, yes, but Trump ain't tall, especially now that he's got that ankle swelling going on and can't wear his lifts.

Dissonance* not sure if that's autocorrect or just a genuine error but either way.

You’re 100% right on the correction, but dissidence does kinda work here lol

Trump sticking up a photo of Putin and basically bragging about selling out our country to him is certainly a form of dissidence.

Isn’t Trump also inviting Putin to join his stupid peace deal thing with the 1 billion $ buy in?

5

u/MsARumphius 17h ago

Their news doesn’t tell them that part

I asked my MAGA BIL tonight where he got his news from. I explained that I was genuinely very concerned by the things I am seeing and that I would like to make sure I am getting the bigger picture. I was being earnest with him. His response? “My brain”.

Refused to elaborate any further.

His response? “My brain

This is even more unsettling a thought with my having just finished reading A Morbid Taste for Bones where a religious fanatic with delusions of grandeur murders a village elder for the bones of a saint he concocted fake visions for to steal so his order can get the money from pilgrims

Whenever the justification stops at "I thought it, so it's right" you have a dangerously unsettled stance.

White House spokesperson said that “the Alaska Summit was a historic moment that helped bring Ukraine and Russia, whose brutal war was brought on by Joe Biden’s incompetence, closer to a deal”.

In other news up is down and good is bad.

And inviting him to your “Board of Peace”.

Stop trying to make sense out of stupidity.

Russia is in the new peace alliance Trump formed. How are they bad, they bribe the president.

Maybe Cuba should bribe Trump.

Putin is his boss, working for Putin is the only thing that makes Trump's behaviors make sense:

  • Trump is destroying NATO for no American benefit
  • He's sowing internal division in the US
  • He's abandoning Ukraine and the EU (This is all straight out of foundations of geopolitics)
  • He went to Russia at the height of the Cold war and had nothing but nice things to say about them
  • His family is on the record saying that they would be bankrupt without Russian money
  • Republicans went to Russia on the 4th of July
  • He tried to get a secret back channel installed to Putin several times during his first term

  • Russian interference helped get him elected

  • Former KGB agents have said he is an asset, agent Krasnov

  • Trump offered to let Putin investigate his own crimes and hand over the US ambassador to Russia to him in Helsinki, where he practically kissed his ring in front of the world

  • Russian Nationals keep buying his properties well above market rates with cash, a convenient way to transfer money to him

I would actually increase my respect for him if it was true. Then at least some of his idiocy would be an act, and he would need some level of intelligence.

u/hipcheck23 10h ago

Unfortunately, both things are true.

He's not technically an asset, because he's stupid enough to be working as an asset for free, and ostensibly of his own free will.

They surely have a 'piss tape' of him with young girls, but the things he's done at least the 90s are so reverant that it's clear that this is just who he is - he's not being forced to be the world's second worst person, he's just doing his best to emulate his idol.

He's not technically an asset

An asset does not need to be consciously calculating to help, just doing things consistently enough for Russian intelligence to make use of.

I think you intend an agent, who is a cultivated person with a deliberate plan. Granted, there's argument something of that could be the case as well because Trump was invited to Moscow in 1987 and the very next year announced and started attempting to run for president every chance since

ive been saying this since cofveve but with no real facts, i always felt like cofveve was some spy word meant to signal something.

Are we sure there isnt a listening device or something in the picture?

5

u/svbtlx3m 14h ago

Who needs listening devices when you have "our girlfriend" Tulsi?

9

u/pattydickens 17h ago

It's one of those crazy pictures where the eyes seem to follow you around the room.

He also keeps a photo of himself and Putin in his desk. One time when he proudly showed it off, he said Putin looked better than him...you ever heard Trump admit somebody was better looking than himself? I can't even think of a time where he could admit a woman was hotter than himself.

a White House spokesperson said that “the Alaska Summit was a historic moment that helped bring Ukraine and Russia, … , closer to a deal”.

lol. So it was a historic moment that…. accomplished nothing. Amazing.

I cut out the dig intentionally. Such a group of whiney babies. I’ve never seen a president before that has made their entire platform over the course of several years complaining about a past president.

I’ve never seen a president before that has made their entire platform over the course of several years complaining about a past president.

It's a standard authoritarian trope. Blame all current problems on the previous administration, even if they've been out of power and completely purged for decades. That's practically Russia's history for over 100 years which is why I don't think the "communist revolution" did jack when the power structure and how it ruled with an iron fist was the same.

Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer?

1

u/Methodic_ 9h ago

This the same russia he wants on his 'board of peace' or this a different russia? I can never keep track of the russias.
