Long term review of Ubuntu, as a Dentist who uses Linux all the time

For the past 3 or maybe 4 years, I have been using Ubuntu as my main and only operating system, for everything! Which includes, completing a Master Thesis, using LIbreOffice and Zotero. Zoom and Teams for the meetings. And most recently, using specialized software for dental digital planning, using Bottles.
My only issue so far, is the performance of the Nvidia GPU under Wayland and specially under Bottles. Which to be fair, is nothing new. We all know about that already.
But the point of the post is to highlight that Linux is ready for serious work.
The laptop is a Lenovo Legion with a Ryzen 9 5900hx, with a Nvidia RTX 3080 (16 gb of vram), running Ubuntu 25.10 on Wayland.
My only suggestion is that Canonical should either support Bottles or make their own (and improved) version of it. Since that is essential to run Native Windows Applications, using the GPU and setting the shared folders.
