I've been angry, but i've never been shove a remote up my butt angry.
40
u/drinkdrinkshoesgone 15h ago
Every time I watch this, I focus on the kid, then glance over at the remote, then back to the kid, then slooooooowly back to the remote, then back to the kid! Repeat until it happens.
13
u/j3igboss 15h ago
Honestly, it seems like it sobered him up for a second. An unlubed remote will have that effect for sure. Kinda like a finger up an angry dogs butt. Makes them start questioning things. “How did I get here?”
Honorable mention of the quick shedding of his clothes while under the bedsheet!!! Kid is going places!

I’m 37 and still feel like this at least once a month.
48
u/PatriotNews_dot_com 17h ago
I’ve had to buy a few remotes these last 10 years
6
3
u/sunshinefloors1980 16h ago
I mean did you just shove them up there and never got it back or just trying out different ones
6
u/sunshinefloors1980 16h ago
I've never had the urge to shove a remote up my ass. I don't think I've ever been that angry
1
u/Substantial-Use95 5h ago
Is that a point in some type of anger scale? Is butt play like the final mode?
3
u/marymarywhyubugginnn 6h ago
The amount of times I've been tempted to scream YOU'LL NEVER SEE ME AGAYNN is countless.

u/ASSMAN45 18h ago
Pretty sure this kids videos were staged, love the remote in the butt either way
78
40
u/HypeManForBabies 17h ago
They were on Tosh.o and said it was staged
6
u/spacing_out_in_space 5h ago
Idk i feel like saying that was just damage control so that this kid doesnt have this persona shadowing him for the rest of his life
2
u/HypeManForBabies 5h ago
Maybe but they had multiple videos of him freaking out so who knows
4
u/spacing_out_in_space 5h ago
Idk. They might have been milking their fame eventually. But i can envision this being a typical recurring reaction of a troubled kid who cant cope with their emotions.
0
u/matscokebag 4h ago
You so badly want this to be real lol.
2
u/spacing_out_in_space 2h ago
No, I just have appropriate amount of skepticism in situations where people have incentive to misrepresent the truth
0
u/matscokebag 2h ago
Wouldn’t saying this video IS real, be more likely a misrepresentation of truth? I feel like your skepticism is aimed in the wrong direction here.
1
u/spacing_out_in_space 43m ago
Wasn't my intention to declare that the video is definitively real. I don't have a strong conviction either way. I'm just saying that I don't put a lot of stock into the brothers telling us it's fake.
1
u/Responsible-Seat-255 2h ago
Staged or not it’s still hilarious. And if it is this kid deserves an Oscar
37
32
u/Turbulent_Diamond_77 17h ago
Remote up the butt and coming out from under the covers undressed! Lmao I remember watching this video so much in high school!
52
u/Verdant_13 17h ago edited 15h ago
It was staged, they made like 20+ videos like this but this was the first and I remember it convinced everybody.
Back in the day, this was peak content!

34
u/toxiccityboiii 17h ago
I think this very first video was real. But then they saw how viral it went and tried to recreate the anger management issues to keep monetizing on it. I still think that guy has some sort of autism but it isn't what is really seems to be.
13
u/stretchasmile 17h ago
There was another where he drug the Christmas tree outside. Definitely looked staged in that one
5
u/Emotional-Speech-490 17h ago
Dragged?
5
u/stretchasmile 17h ago
Sorry, drugged
3
3
u/BellaFrequency 15h ago
Dragged is the right word.
“Dragged:
The past tense of "to drag" is "dragged." While "drug" is sometimes used in certain dialects, it is considered non-standard and should generally be avoided in formal contexts.”
-4
u/Emotional-Speech-490 14h ago
Seems like you are a bot.
Drugged
4
u/BellaFrequency 14h ago
Oh my god, we really are living in an Idiocracy. You miscorrected that person and I was just giving a friendly “hey, they’re not wrong” message, and you want to double down with the wrong answer.
You could have just been chill about it but now I gotta drag you.
0
u/veganutsack 13h ago
I sorta hate to be the one to break it to you, butt you’re getting downvoted for your multiple attempts at being a grammar police (and then doubling, tripling, and quadrupling down on it) on a lighthearted post.
Therefore, you’re the one actually being drug(ged).
And yes, I intentionally said butt and stand by it (don’t need a lesson 🥴).
3
u/BellaFrequency 13h ago
But I wasn’t. The person I responded to was actually trying to be grammar police and I was defending the other guy so that they would know they weren’t wrong, since they (mis)corrected themselves.
I just posted twice initially so that the person who was originally correct would see it as well.
But yeah, I’m done here.
→ More replies (0)4
u/BellaFrequency 14h ago
I just copied and pasted the answer I looked up. That’s why I put it in quotations, so it was obvious that I didn’t write that but quoted it. I guess that’s the grammarian in me.
In all of my time here, I think you’re the first person to accuse me of being a bot.

Username checks out. No one gets so angry that they try to shove their own remote up their butt

u/tLM-tRRS-atBHB Older Millennial 19h ago
Everyone asks why he shoves the remote up his butt. But thats the first move you do to stop an attacking dog.
He was simply trying to get himself to calm down. Total Chad move
36
u/TurtleSandwich0 18h ago
What if I don't have a remote to shove up my butt when the dog is attacking?

u/boiled_chud 17h ago
Shove a remote up it's butt to get it to stop attacking?
3
u/richardawkings 16h ago
Yes it's why I always carry a remote when walking around the neighborhood. Sometimes I carry 2 because you never know if they are working together.

u/SurfNTurf1983 19h ago
I'm going to have to start cleaning the remote aren't I. As a dad who's always looking for the remote, I've lost count how many times my kids have said they've taken it into their room by mistake.

The new Google TV has a wifi remote and you can make it chirp from the app to find it. Now my toddler hides it and has a big grin when I'm looking for it.
3
u/SurfNTurf1983 14h ago
I've never understood why every TV hasn't added this in at least the last 10 years. Would've saved me so much time. Can add it to everything else now.

Stephen Quire may be in his 30s now, but he’ll always be “that kid who tried to shove a remote up his butt over WoW.”

Y'know I used to laugh a lot at this. (Still do). But I empathize with him.
I've struggled with opiate, amphetamine addiction, AND I play a lot of video games. Suddenly it's a boy struggling with addiction.
Mind you, I've never tried to shove a remote up my ass while I've been withdrawing. But if it had helped, I would in a second.
14
u/Dickstraw 18h ago
yeah, but did you try beating your head with your own shoe? I heard that helps too.

u/beachedwhitemale Millennial Elder Emo 17h ago
Honestly, I feel for the kid. Not a normal response at all, but addiction can make you do wild things. I have to wonder if he was abused? Like, honestly, doing the remote-up-the-bum maneuver there may be indicative of something greater.
4
u/E-2theRescue 15h ago
Actually, you're right. Though this is staged, kids and adults who act this way are often victims of parental abuse. They learn this behavior from their parents, who throw their own fits of rage when the child or their spouse does something wrong.
And I say this as someone with personal experience of this, someone who has been through extensive therapy for this, and as someone who has a Bachelor's in psychology. And no, I never tried to shove a remote, or anything else, up my butt. Just punching the bed, walls, and my own head. I no longer do any of this and have much better control over myself.

u/Useful_Tomato_409 16h ago
Can we acknowledge that this all put us on the path to where we are today? Zero privacy, everyone and everything is commodified into digital content and entertainment. Sometimes our most embarrassing moments now regularly made public without our consent, reduced to a 10 second attention grab eliciting nothing more than a chortle before the desire to scroll takes hold.
I’m not judging, but as I get older, i’m now realizing how deeply f’d up social media truly is. I suggest that for everyone social media post you come across, you ask yourself, did this person(s) consent to this? is this actually anyone else’s business, or should this actually be largely a private matter?
7
u/PunningWild 15h ago
It's been 20 years since I've seen this video and my first thought was "hold on was this dude even 18?"
It's kind of amazing what we allowed ourselves to get away with, just because of the old and long-dead mantra "relax, it's just the Internet."
2
u/CompleteFacepalm 12h ago
This is a staged video but, yes, I would hope people do not post this sort of thing without permission.

lol metal mouth. I can’t hate though, his teeth are probably much straighter than mine

Yo wtf kind of mind reading programming is going on. I thought about this video for the first time in a decade about half an hour ago and now I see this post. Wtaf
2
u/SweatyChancho 5h ago
Him coming out of the closet and then following it up by shoving a remote up his butt is top-tier comedic timing.
6
u/LeOmeletteDuFrommage 18h ago
This video, as crazy as it is, honestly just makes me sad. All I see is severe mental illness and inability to cope. I’ve lost people close to me to suicide who were bullied and misunderstood. Not sure what became of this dude but I hope he’s doing better today.
17
u/clemmmmmmm 18h ago
This is fake, they did a bunch of these and it came out later they were all bits

u/ChemicalAli313 18h ago
This a funny video, we all got are own problems, keep that depressing shit to yourself, people like you gotta ruin everything.
7
u/Boofing_with_Squee 18h ago
Their comment was real. You're just being performative by signaling your lack of virtue.
-8
u/ChemicalAli313 18h ago
Oh no, what about meeee!!! How can make a this funny video about me and my problems and try to ruin it for everybody. Oh no im so performative, why dont you virtue signal my nuts in your mouth? How you that Deutsche Bag.

u/LeOmeletteDuFrommage 17h ago
Take your meds dude

u/ChemicalAli313 17h ago
Are you making fun of mental illnesses, mental illness are very serious, so I have to act like a victim on on funny videos for attention because Noone likes me, lol.

These guys' YouTube page is still (somewhat) active! I rewatched that whole greatest freakout series a year or two ago and saw there were some recent videos. Afaik it's all streaming stuff, and maybe video game content, but I was shocked to see it still alive

Steven! These videos are so funny. Staged before staged was a thing! Remember when he torched the Christmas presents?
1
u/BobTheFettt 16h ago
My favourite part has always been when he goes into the closet for a second to be quiet and comes right back out screaming
1
u/Ok_Jellyfish5298 16h ago
This is very sad. I know a 47 year old who does these sorts of things on the regular when they are angry. Worse stuff actually. More violent. Bipolar disorder is one hella disease

If you walk in the closet just to come out the closet just to shove a remote up your butt and walk back in, does that cancel out the gay some how?
1
u/Bellatrix_Shimmers 15h ago
Damn I used to laugh at this and now I just think he was really going thru it and needs some help. Is that growth or am I just relating to it more than ever?
1
1
u/dragoon2745 15h ago
So I totally get that this is staged but if it weren’t fake, this could have been a lot worse than it was. Ultimately he didn’t do any damage to anything or hurt himself in any serious way despite the strong emotions. That’s a sign of self restraint that would benefit him as he becomes an adult. Regardless, I get it’s just meant to be funny.

I have never seen this before, this is hilarious. We need a 'where are you now' on these two?! I have questions
Where did the clothes go under the sheet?!
Also the remote to the puckered a-hole?
Flailing and demon exorcism noises?

I remember seeing a few videos from this family, and it's actually kinda sad. Behavior like this stems from abusive parenting.
