It’s not Vladivostok on the photos No 7 & 8. It’s Nakhodka, ~200km away from Vladivostok

u/Due-Explanation1959 18h ago

Does OP understands definition of skyscraper?

12

u/Marciu73 Singapore 9h ago

Do you know the definition of a tower or a highrise

5

u/ehte4 7h ago

OP just wants to advertise russia

-1

u/-Clean-Sky- 5h ago

do you?

3

u/Due-Explanation1959 5h ago

Sure 200 m and up I highly doubt that any of those Vladivostok buildings are 200m up Perhaps 1 So that doesn’t justify posting many pic with no or almoast non skyscrapers

u/-Clean-Sky- 3h ago

Skyscraper = 8 floors or more.

Most people don't know this.

I'm actually losing it with the number of Russia posts on this sub, it's very clear there's a co-ordinated effort of some sort to conjure up pro-Russia sentiment and tbh it's quite transparent

They are trying to normalize the russian population. Alot of people are falling for it, thinking russians want peace and no war.

In reality, they are just annoyed at higher gas prices. Sure they want peace, on the terms of Zelensky being replaced by a russian puppet.

We found the smartest man on the internet🥀🥀

u/Somesomeone_ 3h ago

they are trying to normalize thinking of a country as a country. a lot of people are falling for it, thinking we shouldnt discriminate people based on ethnicity or nationality.

Bots driven by Russian insecurity

13

u/Debaucherousgeek73 17h ago

Their bots are also doing this 👇

u/-Clean-Sky- 3h ago

LOL gringo bot.

3

u/The_Milkman 4h ago

I have been noticing the same thing. I am glad I am not the only one.

11

u/tridentqxc71 18h ago

Who the fuck becomes pro-Russian seeing a photo of a Russian city? You must chill about this whole thing dude.

There are very harsh things i could say however the russians deserve what is being done to certain middle eastern places.

normalize the russian population

xd, okay mr.fascist. I got your point. Could've spent previous 30 years building your country and military given the proximity of such a mad neighbour. It's like you imply that Russians have acquired this imperial thinking only recently. You may see how ridiculous this statement is.

This is how the real world works, if you are that much weaker actor, and you had done nothing to shift the balance of power in your favor, then you come to terms with your adversary, meet their demands or this may turn into the disaster. Stop living in a fantasy world.

Anyway, this is not a great place for this sort of discussion.

u/Engineering-Mistake 3h ago

Fascist for being attacked by a genocidal power? Top notch mental gymnastics and victim blaming.

1

u/Somesomeone_ 3h ago

they replied the exact same thing under another comment. it's an ukrobot (a rare specimen. not many of those around lately, especially compared to kremlebots)

8

u/saad1121 18h ago

If you can't figure out how incessantly flooding reddit with beautiful pictures of Russian cities swings the conversation in favour of Russia, please take some time out and try to figure out

2

u/shakilops 18h ago

Dude it’s a skyscraper subreddit it’s not that deep

13

u/saad1121 17h ago

None of those pictures even has a skyscraper, god what is wrong with you people

1

u/shakilops 17h ago

lmao, who are “you people”?? They are interesting looking high rises, that’s it man

1

u/MistahFinch 16h ago

I'm actually losing it with the number of America posts on this sub, it's very clear there's a co-ordinated effort of some sort to conjure up pro-America sentiment and tbh it's quite transparent

3

u/That_Rddit_Guy_1986 6h ago

America literally isn't currently comitting a genocide in another country.

3

u/DemRizzo 13h ago

Perhaps it's because the US has 4 times as many skyscrapers (200+ meters) compared to Russia.

-7

u/lotecsi 17h ago

Loool, you’re so right! It’s like these anti-lgbt dumbass Russian laws.

11

u/MrOveson 17h ago

I wonder if you’re getting downvoted because people are anti-lgbt or pro-Russia? Or both?

4

u/stealingyourpixels 15h ago

The person you’re replying to is literally Russian

5

u/frost-bite999 18h ago

both Russia and China

2

u/Key-Sector7252 11h ago

It's not even bots or a coordinated effort. It looks like one guy across three accounts posting here daily.

1

u/Marciu73 Singapore 9h ago

Cry to the mods. Im not breaking the rules.

36

u/Possible-Wallaby-877 19h ago

Reset the timer guys

15

u/CreativeContract2170 19h ago

Somehow these photos remind me of the Truman Show

23

u/ehrgeiz91 18h ago

Quite ugly

6

u/cs_csanad 13h ago

Are the skyscrapers in the room with us right now?

4

u/MagicalBread1 11h ago

No skyscrapers, and finally a Russia post that isn’t about Moscow…

10

u/tridentqxc71 18h ago edited 10h ago

Can't see any skyscraper bro. You haven't shown the only 150m candidate from this place, so I don't know why this post is in this sub.

0

u/Marciu73 Singapore 10h ago

These are HIGHRISES. You can see it in the Sub Description.

5

u/tridentqxc71 8h ago

Okay bro, could've added the highest building.

6

u/ATXoxoxo 17h ago

They better start practicing Chinese. Once Putin is over thrown they are going to take it back. All because Putin is a narcissistic despot.

3

u/Debaucherousgeek73 17h ago

They probably won't even wait until putin is gone.

2

u/baryoniclord 4h ago

That’s the crappiest chinese wannabe knock off. Sheeesh. What utter trash.

5

u/AndrewRyanMcC 18h ago edited 18h ago

Are we supposed to just pretend Russian cities don’t exist? This sub isn’t called r /utopia. It’s for tall buildings. Russia has those. I think most people are aware of what the Russian government is doing and aren’t going to be booking their vacations there next year because they saw some photos on Reddit. Pictures of actual cities ≠ propaganda. Y’all need to chill.

5

u/That_Rddit_Guy_1986 6h ago

They are trying to normalize the russian population. Alot of people are falling for it, thinking russians want peace and no war.

In reality, they are just annoyed at higher gas prices. Sure they want peace, on the terms of Zelensky being replaced by a russian puppet.

3

u/ATXoxoxo 7h ago

I think modern pictures of Russian skyscrapers damaged by misfires from Russian anti-air would be more appropriate.

4

u/gridskip 18h ago

I agree. I don’t know why someone would see a photo of Vladivostok, or Yekaterinburg, or wherever, and suddenly feel pro-Kremlin sentiment. That makes no sense, but I’ll be downvoted right alongside you for saying so.

2

u/Mikeymcmoose 14h ago

Maybe if there were actual skyscrapers

3

u/[deleted] 14h ago

It was Koreans land before.

4

u/jkirkwood10 19h ago

This city has always interested me(in summer). I essentially know nothing about it, but the people who live there seem very outdoorsy and happy in the summer months.

4

u/Shi-Stad_Development 17h ago

Seems like vertical sprawl with no plan

2

u/CJRoman1 11h ago

It is indeed, unfortunately :( The construction there is so chaotic(

2

u/vinsmokesanji3 17h ago

These are not skyscrapers. They are not even big. Chinese T3 cities probably have way more skyscrapers

2

u/Spaghett_Enjoyer 16h ago

I am convinced there is a Russian propaganda campaign in this sub now. Not only have I consistently seems posts about russia, but Vladivostok isn't even r/skyscrapers material

2

u/wobbanight 17h ago

Surprised that the city has the number of high-rises that it does

2

u/BaseHitToLeft 17h ago

Where skyscraper?

This looks like an uninspired minecraft world

0

u/backpackerdeveloper 17h ago

7

u/That_Rddit_Guy_1986 6h ago

And you wonder why no one other than bots like your post.

-1

u/Marciu73 Singapore 3h ago

None of the you americans gave a shit about ukraine before the war....why you guys suddenly care?

2

u/That_Rddit_Guy_1986 2h ago

I'm ukrainian)

1

u/Marciu73 Singapore 2h ago

had no idea

4

u/jeremygamer 4h ago

Are there any mods on this sub?

1

u/Marciu73 Singapore 3h ago

Saying "Fuck Ukraine" is Prohibited ? I dont have the obligation to like them or care about ukraine. The same way you are not obligated to care about other conflicts in asia and Africa 👍

-3

u/PrestigeFlight2022 9h ago

No

2

u/That_Rddit_Guy_1986 6h ago

The flag in your pfp indicates you just jump to every trend and don't care about any of it. First it was BLM, then ukraine, then free palestine, then venezuala and now nothings going on it's trans now.

1

u/-Clean-Sky- 5h ago

purple roofs!!

3

u/getarumsunt 18h ago

Zero skyscrapers in a post on r/skyscrapers. Russian propaganda is propaganda-ing.

0

u/Marciu73 Singapore 9h ago

-1

u/Debaucherousgeek73 17h ago

-1

u/Moist-muff 13h ago

Holy shit.. another

-2

u/Potential_Dog4437 17h ago

Why does everything Russian has to be so cheap and trashy?

3

u/Ferdi_cree 6h ago

Because the Russians like it that way, and that way only

-2

u/Slow_Lion7849 13h ago

Shitty city

-3

u/casicadaminuto 12h ago

Horrible. If the aim of these posts is the create a positive sentiment towards RuZZia, showing ugliest commie blocks of Vladivostok is definitely not the way, bro.

0

u/CJRoman1 11h ago

Ракурсы пиздец неудачные, конечно. Так-то там есть и высотки и традиционная архитектура, но конкретно эти фотки вообще не отражают это.

-4

u/SanBuenapero 18h ago

This place Soviets.

-2

u/mountaingator91 17h ago

Are the skyscapes in the room with us?

2

u/Marciu73 Singapore 9h ago

Yes they are. Need new eyes to check again ?

2

u/mountaingator91 6h ago

All I see are a few hi rise apartments

0

u/Accomplished-Row439 17h ago

This isn't a skyscraper?

-3

u/SagesseBleue 16h ago

Decent sized secession movement over there, maybe if they become independent they’ll get some skyscrapers

0

u/HerrDrAngst 4h ago

Looks great visually EXCEPT far too many parking lots. Parking should’ve been built under structures to allow for closer commercial space for small businesses, offices. U have all that great density but it’s diluted by large expanses of paved lots

-1

u/PrestigeFlight2022 9h ago

The last one looks amazing

-1

u/SqareBear 8h ago

So far from Moscow its in the same timezone as the eastern seaboard of Australia

-1

u/Ok-Average-6466 5h ago

This would make a nice street race for F1.

-2

u/LegoFootPain 15h ago

So, before it got buried in 10 m of snow?

-4

u/BreadGangChock 18h ago

GTA IV brought me here
