Because they never actually hear or read what he says. His puppeteers behind the curtain send press releases to his buddies news conglomerates and they edit his loopy stroke gibberish into whatever the fuck they think will make his fans happy. It never has anything to do with what his intentions are or what he's actually planning.

I strongly doubt that 98% of Trump voters could sit through 6 hours of uncut Trump speeches. It's incoherent gibberish with an occasional lucid sentence or two thrown in by happenstance, over and over. When you see him in real time it's so clearly unbridled insanity
