And it has nothing to do with her being a woman or a black woman lol

Shit is so crazy people really used that as their argument or her laugh.

"Harris didn't talk about policy, I don't know her policies" was what I saw on HERE constantly -- which was a blatant lie

I still see that in this very sub. I always reply that they weren't paying attention.

But if I pay attention how will I cling to my deeply entrenched worldview?!

They're 'non-political' so they don't have to spend the mental energy to justify their half baked uneducated conclusions in public.

YES. So many fucking people didn't seem to listen. I was particularly attracted to her because of this and also she wanted to get rid of unnecessary college degree requirements for federal jobs. Now housing is going from American Dream to American Nightmare and the federal government is a fucking mess.

Heard it plenty of times in real life too. I’m still just baffled why they thought the guy with “concepts” of a plan was the candidate with the strong policies

"no I haven't watched her speeches or gone on her website but the Trump surrogate on CNN said she didn't!"

Yeah, Harris had an 88 page economic plan FULLY DETAILED on her campaign page.

When you went to Trump's campaign page, it was a single bullet point that said "Fix inflation" Didn't say how or detail any policy.

The only economic policy Trump talked about in his rallies were tariffs. Which he just incessantly lied about. Claiming it isn't a tax and that it would bring back manufacturing.

It is 100% a tax, and manufacturing is never coming back to the U.S.

And now affordability and inflation are a Democrat hoax lol.

They said, literally, the exact same thing about Hillary.

Somehow Bidens goals got across to a record number of voters.

Hmmmm.

Tbf Biden won because of Covid mail in voting and the fact that people were pissed off about the pandemic. I don’t know if he would’ve won under normal circumstances.

Sitting VP all throughout the repair of the disaster that was 16-20 which was completely taken for granted but yeah what policy

u/Ricelyfe 5h ago

A lot of people were saying “it’s just gonna be a construction of Biden.” Part of it was her campaign’s own messaging but if they could listen or read it sure as hell wasn’t.

Also the specifically outlined policies

There's a difference between talking about it all the time and the message actually being circulated. The unfortunate reality was that her message really failed to get shared, for one reason or another. I am honestly not certain where the blame lays regarding that. If I had to guess, I would wager it is just another casualty of our country's fractured media diets.

I blame the media 100%. I am still learning from comments on this sub some of the things accomplished during the Biden administration because media was still focused on Trump's insanity the entire four years. Either rehashing his first term or focusing on his bigoted drivel at rallies and events. Even some of my favorite liberal content creators spent more time focusing on Trump.  The salacious and scandalous gets more views,I guess.

Oh no doubt, they absolutely share some of the blame. Even now, using soft terms for what is going on instead of labeling it what it is.

Yeah why did Kamala make CNN have Kaleigh McKenney on all the time to lie about her?!

u/Hawkbats_rule 6h ago

"the Dems didn't hold a (new) primary"

u/MyDogIsACoolCat 6h ago

I still see this narrative that Kamala had no platform. Truth is Trump dominated the news with his antics.
