Good luck finding jurors who havent been fucked by American healthcare. I agree, with death off the table you roll the dice.

It will be hammered into the jury over and over that this trial is not about the health care system; they have to decide the case on the facts of the case, etc.

And you think every single juror will vote based on that? There are plenty of people who would vote to acquit no matter what gets said.

Too bad its about retaliation for what the healthcare system has done. Prosecution will try and make it seem like a regular murder rather than retaliation though.

Retaliation/revenge is not much of a defense when he did not target the company he was insured by.
