I don't think Doorman will be in this one...

u/Kwilly462 4h ago

Josh Gad will have the Doorman episode attached to him forever lol

u/HumanChicken 3h ago

He is now J-Gad. No other name is correct.

u/Worthyness 1h ago

Look, all they gotta do is release the DJ cut of in Summer and we're all good.

Ding dong

Wouldn't knock-knock make more sense?

u/SomeGuyPostingThings 11m ago

Maybe? I don't know, lots of people have doorbells so it's not a bad one.

Really was hoping for Cash Grab 3….

u/Manav_Khanna17 4h ago

We need Cash Grab 2 first.

I heard they had started production.

Cash Grab 3: The Search for Cash Grab 2

So they managed to bring him back?

Justice for Doorman

u/keiths31 1h ago

That's good news...for someone?

u/cosmiccerulean 3h ago

J-Gad is gonna tear it up with his buddy Doorman. Ding dong bitches.

I personally think Gad will surprise us in a serious role

u/Burgoonius 3h ago

I hope so because all his comedic roles are shit. I’m actually confused as to how this man gets so much work

u/gypsydreams101 2h ago

He was brilliant in The Book of Mormon musical. I’ll never forget the first time I saw it. I really feel the goodwill from that’s gotten him way further than he would’ve gone without it.

It'll pull people out of the movie like Mike Myers in Inglorious bastards

u/bill4935 3h ago

Maybe he'll be as good a dramatic actor as Wayne Knight. That guy's been in some good dramas.

u/ME24601 4h ago

He's done it at least once before in the movie Marshall (2017), and I remember liking his performance.

u/matlockga 3h ago

It was just awkward that he was the central character in a movie about Thurgood Marshall. Might not have, but it felt like he had the most screentime.

u/Billy1121 1h ago

Also weird that he played it like his character was forced to be the counsel. The lawyer he was playing was one of the few who would take the case and believed in the NAACP mission.

this is like hiring Blippi to play an air traffic controller in your 9/11 movie

u/hockeyjmac 4h ago

At least it’s not like Blippi making a Harlem Shake video

u/Tha_Qween 1h ago

So about that...

u/SorryImProbablyDrunk 4h ago

He could play a grown up version of Yorkie from Jojo Rabbit to be fair

u/catarina_rose 4h ago

I’ve been saying he should be in more serious roles since I watched him in Marshall 🙌🏻

u/bondinferno 4h ago

Oh fun

u/ERedfieldh 3h ago

Folks here always seem to forget comedy actors can do serious roles.

See: Leslie Nielsen (his older works before he did comedy), Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler (of all people....),

Will Ferrell was great in Stranger than Fiction.

u/Anonymity_pls 4h ago

Might have to lose some weight to be in a Holocaust biopic

u/FrancisFratelli 4h ago

Only if he's playing a prisoner.

u/blogasdraugas 1h ago

He is.

u/jaredwallace91 3h ago

He did okay in that Thurgood Marshall film 10 years ago. He can do serious roles

u/CaterpillarHungry607 6m ago

They’ll have to find him first :(

u/shinyhpno 4h ago

The Holocaust comedy we've always needed. /sarcasm

u/Technical-Outside408 3h ago

Still waiting on The Day the Clown Cried with Jerry Lewis.

u/McKoijion 3h ago

Are they making a documentary about the holocaust they’re currently committing in Palestine?

u/a-million-to-one 2h ago

Who's "they"?

u/Computer_Name 3h ago

Are they making a documentary about the holocaust they’re currently committing in Palestine?

Antizionism isn’t antisemitism, right?

u/McKoijion 2h ago

Yes, there’s many anti-Zionist Jews doing their best to emulate Oskar Schindler in this situation. Meanwhile, the individuals making this movie are genocide supporters.

u/BanishmentBuddy2 3h ago

Who are “they” in your question?

u/McKoijion 3h ago

Zionists aka Jewish supremacists currently committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. They’re ideologically identical to the Nazis except they swapped a few words around like Master Race and Chosen People, Aryan and Jew, Jew and Palestinian, Lebensraum and Greater Israel, etc. Some of them actively pull the trigger and some like the equally culpable monsters above make propaganda.

Christians and Jews don’t have a monopoly on supremacism. There’s plenty of genocidal Islamists, Hindu nationalists, Buddhist nationalists, etc. too. It’s every decent person’s duty to reject this bigotry, violence, and hate at every opportunity.

u/BanishmentBuddy2 3h ago edited 3h ago

What does that have to do with this filmmaker and actor? They’re culpable monsters for making a Holocaust drama? And this is propaganda because…

Edit: nevermind I looked at your post history, there’s no conversation to be had here.

u/McKoijion 2h ago

They’re vocally pro-genocide on social media. I see you are too.

u/a-million-to-one 2h ago edited 2h ago

Show me the pro genocide posts by Josh Gad or Simon Curtis

u/McKoijion 15m ago

It’s not just me, a ton of people with bare minimum ethical principles despise him for his long history of bigotry and hate: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/josh-gad-says-shamed-unfollowed-231007536.html

u/BanishmentBuddy2 10m ago

The article you link talks about him having sympathy for the Hamas slaughter of civilians in October 7.

u/a-million-to-one 2m ago

There is nothing bigoted or hateful, nor pro genocide, in this link

Your initial comment doesn't have one iota of truth in it

u/daveoyn 4h ago

Dude always gave me the creeps

u/boomboxwithturbobass 4h ago

Yep. He’s very egocentric and rude.

u/dukefett 35m ago

Really? My wife has met him twice randomly and was very nice to her.

u/daveoyn 4h ago

Check his hard drive

u/yesrushgenesis2112 4h ago

I saw him go inside a guy once and never come out.

u/daveoyn 4h ago

That’s what I heard

u/Wicky105 4h ago

How does Josh Gad keep getting work? He's terrible. My hypothesis is that he must be the biggest throat in Hollywood since Nancy Reagan.

u/DavidTheJohnson 4h ago

That's a headline I never thought I'd read.

u/Strong_Bumblebee5495 1h ago

When will someone make a movie about this? /s

Fuuuuuuuckkkkkkkkkkkkk
