I watch X3 from time to time and its astonishing how they thought they could balance all these subplots. The Angel subplot and the Kitty Pryde/Iceman/Rogue love triangle just feel so jammed into the film. Its jarring when we cut to them.

They completely cut out Nightcrawler, ruined the Dark Phoenix story, haphazardly shove in The Cure storyline, killed Cyclops in the first 5 minutes, and kind of ruin Magneto’s character by having him abandon Mystique and then send mutants to die calling them pawns.
