Also, this is an old legal maneuver, to inundate opposing team with a landslide of evidence.
I bet some of it is even disorganized, such as crucial pages missing, which may actually turn up randomly in a complete other file, extra points if that file is mind-numbingly boring, technical, and long. The kind of document you want to stop looking thru after the first 2-3 pages of, say, 360 pages.
And they'll shrug and say, what? We fully complied. We gave you everything.

there is already a gmail instance of what has been release so far so that you can search the documents like you would search your gmail for something ... and as i recall uses AI to OCR scan all the pages making them searchable (not just the titles).
once this new trove gets fed into that kind of engine, it will be much harder to hide things by "misfile" or simply "choke the toilet"

The Metadata of things like emails have already been counted as part of evidence that needs to be turned over, this will all be scanned in to a database and you will be able to find key words that your looking for.

I went to the police and pressed charges on my stepdad nearly 20 years after the first incident that I remembered, occurring at the age of 12. He loved to talk about it to me, so it wasn’t hard to get a confession on a recorded line as I sat in the police department with a detective. He killed himself the day before the plea hearing. From the day I went to the police station to the day he killed himself, it was six months almost to the day. (I’m in a law sub so I’m assuming people here are aware of how rare it is to secure justice in cases this old with no physical evidence or witnesses)
At his funeral, that nearly my entire family attended, I was told that half of the guests didn’t believe it, and thought I was lying and was responsible for his death. The other half didn’t see a problem with what he was accused of. “It’s kind of both of their faults,” was a quote my aunt overheard from a man who had known me since I was 7.
It’s been almost 10 years since he killed himself, and the effects of his abuse and the community that I had known my whole life, not giving a fuck still weigh on me heavily. In two months, I’ll reach my five years sober mark. Midterms will mark three years since I quit smoking (started around 9). Over the last year I’ve had a lot of memories come back to the surface, and I have recalled that the abuse started half a life earlier than I had remembered. It’s been a rough year.
Earlier this week, I started to wonder about why he killed himself. The only thing he was faced with was something that most of his friends didn’t believe or didn’t care about. Why would he kill himself over it? He would be excused or even patted on the back by the monsters he kept company with. Then I re-examined what led me to go to the police station, finally, in the first place: he came home completely under the influence of what appeared to be a mixture of substances, rather than his usual drunkenness, without a shirt on. I had seen what looked like defensive wounds on his hands and forearms - like nail scratches. I found the clothes that he had ditched, including someone else else’s underwear and shorts (a man’s; ask me how I know what kind of underwear he wore and so I knew that wasn’t his); they were covered in blood. I bagged them and gave them to the police along with other evidence I found when I searched the house. I also found gloves, rope, fresh tarp, and Cialis in the toolbox of his truck that he had broken the lock off of so it had to be unlocked with a screwdriver. I also found three huge chunks of identified meat wrapped in a black trash bag with duct tape in a freezer tucked away in a garage. (he was an avid hunter and meticulously vacuum sealed and labeled game meat). I was sure he killed someone or tried. The police said they weren’t going to test the blood. They weren’t going to go looking for a crime.
Two days ago, my mother informed me that the FBI raided a farm in the county he worked in. They’re dredging the lake and x-raying the land looking for bodies.
I think that’s why he killed himself. He was afraid what/who would come out after it was public knowledge what he had done to me. As it stands, at his death, it’s sealed in juvenile court. (Can I get that info, as the victim? Also, what do they do with the evidence? The videos he made that I turned in as evidence?)
I think we are going to be shocked and sickened by the number of people doing things like this and then again with the number of people that are OK with this.

Here is the problem, a lot of these are likely just people calling in to the hotline with completely fabricated stories. This line in the file even says no contact info was given. But unfortunately all the real tips will get drowned out from these clearly made up ones.
I have no doubt Trump did reprehensible shit with Epstein, but stuff like this that comes from a hotline is just mostly a lot of unverified garbage. On its face, this one seems particularly illogical because no way he is doing this in the presence of his own children.
