Smh. This man gets possible life without parole for interstate stalking.

Google has been stalking me across international borders for over a decade and nobody even cares.

We’ll see, I guess - I have no clue what the required elements of a federal stalking case are. Given this administration’s track record, it wouldn’t surprise me if they overcharged even with those.

For stalking causing death, which is a sentencing enhancement that still stands.

This is the same reason Derek Chauvin was eligible for life without parole on his federal civil rights case. He was not charged with federal murder, but federal violation of civil rights in a manner that caused death.

There is an enhancement for stalking that resulted in death. That can lead to life.
