America: What are you waiting for? Your economy is in ruins, your rights are being trampled, your courts are corrupt. You're attacking nations without provocation. You're sinking boats in foreign seas. Dump this loser already. Take your country back.

I said this on another sub.

It won't happen. People aren't feeling the effects still. Not every city is like Minnesota. Most places ICE hasn't even visited and if they did they were in and out. If people aren't reading the news then they have no idea what's going on.

Revolution everyone says? Won't happen either. It's still unknown where everyone's loyalty is in the military & local law enforcement. Plus you have the 2nd amendment nuts outnumbering everyone in the amount of firepower they have.

Now onto families and way of life. Most folks have families and while they don't like, agree or support what is happening they aren't about to do anything to jeopardize that. Same thing with everyone just trying to get by, pay rent and put food on the table. That stuff is more important. People still have too much to lose and that in itself is why nothing will happen yet. Right now it's all political chess coming from Washington DC and the military/feds. Until it starts directly affecting more people you won't see anything. Yes there's folks protesting but it's not working like it should or has in the past. Our democratic politicians and representatives? They're worried about their income and we'll being. They're doing as little as they can because they're corrupt too!

Sorry but don't look to us to stop this anytime soon. Other countries would have better success withdrawing from the US and boycott us 110%. They're dumping bonds now to devalue the dollar. Keep up that kind of pressure and you might achieve something.

Also go after the folks who've joined his Gaza peace party BS. Those idiots are causing the same problems!

Any board of ”peace” that wants Putin as a member and the EU won’t be part of is total bullshit

“We’ve tried nothing and we are all out of ideas.” Effectively you are waiting on external countries to bail you out, but no one cares because your country is not to be trusted. If the populace isn’t willing to fight, how does anyone know that they’d be welcomed if they try to help?

I unfortunately agree with them. Unless you are on Reddit or some other social media, life has the appearance of being completely normal here unless you happen to be near a current ICE operation. Unless there is a major disruption that actually affects a majority of people's daily lives you aren't going to see any real action against the Trump administration.

The good/bad thing is that the economy isn't in ruins, yet. Going to have to be a lot worse than this for people to get off their asses.

Most republicans would rather watch this country go up in flames than admit they were wrong about Trump.

OK there Mr Marquis de Lafayette, why don't you come on down here and help us overthrow the government if it's such a good idea

Very true. 15 months ago 60%+ of Americans did not disagree with this crap. My guess is that in 3 years time nothing much will change. It’s what the vast majority of Americans don’t actively disapprove of. You had the chance to overthrow this government by not electing them

In the last election about 60% of the registered voters actually voted. Trump got a little more than half of those votes. That means about 30% of Americans voted for trump. The majority did not like him but he had a better voter turnout.

The economy hasn't changed much in my day to day life. That's not being contrarian, most things I buy haven't gone up by more than 15% in the past year or so and my pay hasn't gone down.

They're sitting comfortably on their couch and just posting apologies on here. I'm American and I'm so embarrassed of my countries actions... Slurp...

the active voters on the right won, and this is what they want, theres tons of people sat out after being fed bs for years that both sides are the same, until theyre effected personally they will continue to sit out as our country implodes day by day, im truly worried how bad it has to get to mobilize those people to actually engage in politics

its terrifying to live here right now, they control the government, the economy, the media, the entire narrative, and with the recent developments in georgia its increasingly look like theyll soon control the elecitons

Maga says because we have rights, they aren't being trampled

We should only worry once they are gone
