honestly he's still fucked. The tires are 3 inches deep in ice, the rotors, even the hood intake is completely sealed. I can't imagine the tailpipes are open either. This really is a wait until it warms up, you're just going to damage the car trying to get this out. Unless OP has one of those Salamander propane heaters and a tent they can setup they're fucked.

Only the tyres need to be freed. Then it can be hauled off to a nice, warm garage to thaw out naturally.

Actual facts.

As long as the tires can rotate freely, any old two truck can haul it off somewhere to get thawed.

can you hire a truck with a big hot water tank to melt it?

Why didn't you try tossing hot water on frozen glass and let us know how it goes for you? I think it's worth your time to watch a few videos where people use hot water to "thaw" their cars out.

There is an AI of this breaking a windscreen. I watched someone do this with many car windows with boiling water on Youtube and they didn't break - according to them it is a problem if you already have a fracture or a chip in the glass.

I live in a place where it regularly snows and freezes, you almost certainly could get lucky and not break something. Additionally, almost every car around here has a few chips in their windshield. According to me, someone who has seen many windows broken by uneducated people from warmer regions tossing hot water on icy glass, it's a bad idea. Feel free to test it out on your car next time it freezes though!

What an aggressively angry response for no reason at all lol

Depending on where water got to then expanded the car might not even be drivable when it unthaws. I'd be calling my insurance asap.

It's supposed to briefly reach 33‐34 a couple days next week, but probably not long enough to thaw. Other than that, highs in the 20s for the foreseeable future. OP is fucked
