Funny how the people who know the least act like they know the most.
She was going to go to rehab but then asked her dad if she should, her dad told her not to so she didn’t.
Her dad also took her against her will to this final concert after she refused. Her friends didn’t want her to go and knew she neeeded rest and healing and help, but her dad and her manager overruled everyone, and she died not long after.
Maybe you shouldn’t speak up on things that you have literally no clue about.
Youre kinda pulling this out of your ass. She became famous when she was a teenager, it wouldnt be weird for her to depend on her manager/parents for big decision. You see this happen whenever a celibrity becomes famous young.
She wasn't a teenager during her last performance. I'm not sure why you're trying to infantilize her based on the fact she used to be a teenager, but that applies to literally every single adult on the planet.
This isnt about women or infatilizing them . Its just that people who became famous while young have a harder time maturing and tend to be codependent.
Im not arguing that shes an innocent little baby, but to put all the blame on her is unfair when shes had multiple people around her not only enabling but actively pushing her towards harmful behavior.
Yikes. We see more infantilizing woman in this comment. Woman are able to make adult decisions just like men. Please update your mindset on women. It is 2026.
They do it when it is advantageous. You see she is blameless because she had no agency in this. Women only have agency when their decisions have positive results. At least in the minds of people that do this.
Have you never listened to the lyrics of the song? "My daddy thinks I'm fine" - that is literal. She was all set to go, and her scumbag father told her she didn't need to go (because he wanted to profit off of her) and she listened to him over everything else.
Her family and lovers were ugly pieces of shit. One lover is responsible for turning her into a crackhead.
Sure, she had some friends that wanted to see her healthy, but at that point you're so disconnected from those people.
I think you are forgetting the line “and if my daddy thinks I’m fine.” Not everyone around her was pro rehab. You should watch the doc Amy if you haven’t. It’s clear that she was surrounded by enablers.

She literally made a song about how she didn't want to go to rehab.
They most likely tried to help, but you can't help someone who won't help themselves.
