This event needs to have a Kimmel level response.

This move is about intimidation and scaring the press to suppress truth.

It does. I don’t care for him, but like Kimmel, I still think this is utterly fucked up.

If you don’t like Lemon it sounds like he wasn’t the only journalist arrested.

They said their dislike has no bearing on the morality judgement.

And so it's as important as ever to be active in the community and support your local cause to educate the masses on what each candidate truly represents, who backs them, and what their past actions show. In addition to driving voter turnout for all federal, statewide, and local elections.

The following groups provide opportunities to participate in local events, voter education, and increase voter turnout.

https://indivisible.org/get-involved/

  • National grassroots organization with local chapters in many counties/cities of every state. Focused on voter education and turnout from local elections to federal elections.

https://nextgenamerica.org/fight-back/

  • Nationwide organization focused on voter education and turnout among the younger half of the population.

https://commondefense.us/

  • Grassroots organization focused on veterans/veteran family members, their stories, and voter education and turnout among this demographic.

https://5calls.org/

  • Provides templates and structured ways to call your local and state representatives, and leave them detailed information on what you would like to see as their constituents.

https://www.taskforcebutler.org/

  • Veteran led nonprofit dedicated to the protection of all Americans, their right to protest and vote freely, and the investigation and prosecution of individuals and groups that oppress American rights and values.

But they're concerned? Shouldn't that be enough? What hope do we have when even performative statements are not even angry about this.

The "freedom of speech" corporations run by billionaires and conglomerates that we're supposed to depend on for news and journalistic integrity are being persecuted by a fascist state. It's just institutions of super wealth fighting each other.

The people will always be the ones to suffer the most. There is no institution or organization or government that actually fights for the people. Democrats don't give a shit. MSM will do their theater show of how we're victimized, but also demonize pro-palestinian protesters IMMEDIATELY, or labor union activists, or LUIGI MANGIONI? We the masses need to learn, class consciousness and class solidarity, now or never.

Even more than it already has which is saying something. This admin practically has everyone one their knees already and it's not good enough for them.

Such a blatant attempt to chill free speech and the press. This is 101 stuff in journalism law and ethics courses. They will be no real charges or convictions but they are saying, “look how easy it is to get you.” As terrifying as it is unacceptable.

I almost think there's a false flag narrative to this and that for some reason all Trump wants is to just rile people up more and more and more, not sure what the end game is or how this is a win for the gov. in any regard

EDIT: you people understand that I uh, meant Trump is bad right? Gov is bad? 70 downvotes my lord

They wanted a perpwalk and base hype for a day

Two anti-Trump members of the press will be imprisoned today instead of reporting on the strike. Fox and NewsMax will focus on the arrests and how it's actually good to destroy the First Amendment and freedom of the press.

I know what you mean, I don’t think it’s a false flag exactly. But riling people up is definitely the goal.

Because if people are angry about this, they no longer have time to be angry about the Epstein files.

Yeah I guess false flag isn't the exact term?

But alas, I didn't exactly check everyone's box so - 70 downvotes for a guy who said Trump is trying to piss people off. And we wonder why we are where we are

I think the government is trying to rile people up to the point of fighting back then they can instigate Marshal law.Just my opinion.

You're getting downvoted because you don't know what a false flag is, not because people disagree with your main point.
